Daniel is a Tax Professional and Manager for Verdant, a d/b/a of Avior Tax & Accounting.
Born and raised in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska, Daniel’s journey began with high school days filled with coaching little league baseball and working at the local comedy club, a stint that continued even after graduating from Elkhorn South High School. While his college journey initially pointed towards Chemistry/Premed, a realization struck Daniel that he should not be a doctor and that accounting was a better fit for him.
Daniel is a proud alumnus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, solidifying his status as a lifelong Cornhusker fan. During his college years, he found his groove in the curling club and Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, affiliations that continue to hold a special place in his life.
Post-graduation, Daniel ventured to the sun-soaked lands of Phoenix, Arizona, where he embarked on a career with RSM while pursuing his master’s in taxation at Grand Canyon University. RSM sharpened his skills in preparing tax returns for individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profits across various states. Yet, Daniel’s desire for more direct client interaction led him to Verdant, where he thrives in assisting individuals, businesses, trusts, and non-profit organizations in planning and preparing their tax returns.
Beyond his role, Daniel is a dedicated Red Sox enthusiast, ensuring he catches every game possible. His love for humor draws him back to the comedy club, where he once worked, to enjoy performances by his favorite comedians. However, his true joy lies in spending quality time with his cherished family and friends, especially with his beautiful daughter, Lillian, and his canine companions, Fenway and Boston.
