Jake is a Senior Tax Professional for Verdant, a d/b/a of Avior Tax & Accounting.
Jake was born and raised in Omaha, NE and was initially a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincon, majoring in Actuarial Science. He then changed his major and began his work in public accounting as an intern while finishing his degree in college, studying accounting. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He went on from being an intern to starting full-time in public accounting as of January 1, 2020.
Jake specializes in individual and business tax as well as the taxation of trusts and estates. He has helped his clients with all forms of business entity structures, as well as navigate the complexities that can occur with trust and estate accounting. His experience with a wide range of clients, from individuals that do business across many states, to local, small businesses has helped him to provide a wealth of knowledge to his client base.
He and his wife are enjoying having a brand-new baby boy and currently both serve as youth directors at their local church, pursuing their passion for assisting the youth of this generation. When he is not in the office, he can often be found either on the golf course or pursuing his love for travel with his family.
