Personal Background: Originally hailing from Abingdon, Virginia, Amy is married to James Douglas Gardner, MD, and they share the joy of raising five sons. An avid coffee enthusiast, Amy holds a special affinity for celebrating other people’s birthdays, making them her favorite holidays.
